When Quitting Is Not An Option...
Mission Team 21
Created with the guidance of Bill Hill (Command Master Chief-Seal Team 3 RETD), this design (In conjunction with 30 years of real time experience) has produced a great field tool for any theater. It has great eye appeal, feels good in the hand, and performs always at its best.
The Feb 2006 issue of Blade Magazine had MSG Kim Breed, 5th Special Forces RETD, wrote:
“I laid out the knives and looked them over. The first one to jump out at me was the Mission Team 21. I just like the way the blade is shaped. The weight of the knife makes chopping easy and the handle does not create any hot spots on the hand. Since the blade is about a quarter inch thick, I wanted to be sure the tip would penetrate. The modified false edge eased the task. I used my new phone book, which is 1 inch thick when compressed, the MT 21 penetrated it completely both times. Excellent performance: I could feel the blade crunch cutting as it went through."
...TOPS KNIVES... AS TOUGH AS THE GUYS THAT CARRY THEM
The Night Was Cold, The Moon Was Low... The Enemy Was In Sight...
In an article appearing in the "Sportsman's Gazette" July 2002, the article stated:
"One of the most cherished personal effects a soldier will have is a high quality, custom or semi custom knife. TOPS of Idaho Falls have become extremely popular with those rough men who allow us all to sleep soundly".

An excellent, solid choice for the out-of-doors.
This strong knife may in some respects resemble the animal by this same name. The badger is a well known very fierce and tough animal. They are capable of fighting off large animals such as wolves, coyotes and even bears. They just don't back down, they can even run up to 25-30 km per hour for short bursts.
In the past years this knife has been a favorite of many troops in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Philippines.

Outfitters AXE #OX5
TOPS New Outfitter 5" Utility Hand Axe or OX-05 Hatchet, was designed by a collaboration effort between Dave Burnell, a former Air Force Search & Rescue Operative & CEO of OPS Gear, and Allen Jensen, a Youth Survival Instructor who has been worked with various Idaho Guides & Outfitters for more than fifteen years. The OX-05 design incorporates useful features for both Hunters and Tactical Users alike.
The oval hole in the head allows the user's fingers to make a firm grip, close to the blade for delicate knife work, as well as providing a possible way to lash the OX-05 to a pack or saddle.
The manufacturers suggested retail is $149.00 a bargain when one considers the versatility and great balance this hatchet has. It's obvious that it will soon become a favorite of both Hunters and Operatives alike.
