TOPS Cochise Knife: A Tribute to Strength and Resilience
The TOPS Cochise knife is a rugged fixed-blade tool designed for those who demand uncompromising performance in the field. Named after the legendary Apache leader Cochise, a symbol of strength, independence, and survival, this knife is built to handle the toughest tasks in the wilderness—whether you're hunting, camping, or exploring the great outdoors.
With an overall length of 9.75" and a 4.5" Hunter’s Point blade made from TOPS' trusted 1095 high-carbon steel (RC 56-58), this knife strikes the perfect balance between size, durability, and cutting efficiency. The 0.190" thick blade ensures long-lasting sharpness and strength, while the tactical gray finish adds both style and extra resistance to corrosion.
The black linen Micarta handle is ergonomically designed, offering a solid, secure grip even in wet conditions. At 10.1 oz (13.0 oz with the included black Kydex sheath), the Cochise knife is built to feel substantial in hand without being overly cumbersome. The rotating spring steel clip on the sheath adds versatility to your carry options, making it ideal for belt or pack placement.
Field-tested and highly praised by users, the Cochise holds a sharp edge for extended periods and delivers superior performance for everything from skinning game to heavy-duty cutting tasks. Whether you're an experienced hunter or an outdoor enthusiast, the Cochise is ready for any challenge you face in the wilderness.

- Unique knife
- This is a unique knife. It is large for an EDC. Everything about it is large, the blade the handle the butt, but in a good way. I wouldn't not carry it as an addition to my rotation of EDC knives, in fact I think I will. The knife has a great balance to it. The one thing I might do over is to get it with the Rocky Mountain Tread option. It would be well worth the cost to do so on this knife. I have large hands and the handle is still on the beefy side. I would feel better if I had the Rocky Mountain Tread option. (Posted on 9/24/2020)
- My new EDC....
- I have been wanting this knife for a very long time. Since the first time i saw it. Ive had it for 3 or 4 days now... & I Love it!. The only thing that i have a problem with is.. i feel like an idiot because i cant stop showing it to people. My girlfriend keeps saying " Put that thing away!!!" Shes just mad she dont have one........lol. (Posted on 3/7/2020)
- Great Hunting Knife
- This knife holds a very good edge and provides a secure grip while cleaning animals. I field-dressed, skinned and quartered two deer without needing to re-sharpen. It's my go-to knife for hunting. (Posted on 8/21/2016)
