Tough little guy
Reminds me of the tough little guy everyone knew not to mess with. Tough 1095 steel, thick for length. Handle grippy especially with Rocky Mountain tread. Carry on belt, in jacket pocket, pack (where legal). Edge needed brief touch-up to slice paper. Ideal for those who just don't trust folders. Question: What is strongest knife lock? Answer: Full tang. Review by David C (Posted on 1/21/2020)
Another great tool
First, I don't think I'll ever find a TOPS knife that I don't like. I'm partial to them.
Second, I like this one too. It seems to be the simplest design that works in a ton of situations. Sure, it won't baton anything bigger than a twig, but it's better to use the right tool in the first place. It can be used for whittling, making tinder, cutting straps - canvas - duct tape - seat belt material - etc...
Third, as always, the 1095 is excellent steel along with the decent coating of "black traction".
Fourth, the sharpness out of the box is amazing. The folks who grind and shape the blades are masters at their respective job.
Fifth, the only thing I was curious about is the decision to use a non-removable rotating spring pocket/belt clip. You can muscle it off, but I'm not taking a chance of fudging something up on the sheath. Don't get me wrong, it's a good clip, but having another option would have been good.
And, finally, if you haven't bought one yet, you will be happy once you do.

Great knife
I got this knife for a patch knife for when I'm muzzleloader hunting. I'm a bit old school. This little knife was just what I was looking for. Not too big not too small just right. Built tough and cuts like a dream. This was a great purchase. Thanks TOPS for building a wonderful little cutter. If you need smaller knife then the little bro is just what the doctor ordered.
