The finger divot is a signature of his that he originally learned from his mother and is designed to make it easy to know where the edge is oriented based on where that divot is felt. As an added bonus, it helps when extracting a knife that has been stabbed into something and may be somewhat stuck. The false edge aids in stabbing as well. The Kydex sheath is low profile and easily customized by the end user to be worn in multiple configurations.

- I will be ordering again!!!
- I come from a culinary background so when I saw this knife I instantly knew I needed it. I usually have a “neck knife” paring knife on my apron in the kitchen because it’s the most versatile tool in my knife kit. Now I’ve got my tactical paring knife for my edc knife and life feels right. That being said it feels great in hand in multiple grip positions. The notch for telegraphing the edge is perfect. Also helps getting it out of the sheath. Which fits extra tight. It feels solid and not at all like a 2 1/2 inch blade. I feel like I could chop a tree down with this little guy and then use it to prepare dinner afterwards. Quality and shipping are top notch! Will definitely order more knives in the future!
