The Fieldcraft by Brothers of Bushcraft has been one of the best all-around hard-use bushcraft knives on the market since it was released and still is to this day.

Since that time, a folding version of the Fieldcraft has also been made. Now it's time for a different size.

Clearly with all of that success, many people have requested many changes and different options. One of them that a lot of people seem to agree would be great is a smaller version. This is why TOPS created the Fieldcraft 3.5. It's a smaller, slightly slimmer version of the original. It's got TOPS' modified Scandi grind, black traction coating, tan canvas Micarta handles, and a great Kydex sheath. The 3 5/8" blade length is an excellent size for most cutting tasks. So this knife will excel as a bushcrafter, hunting knife, camp knife, and even as a fixed-blade EDC.

Totally Impressed!
I purchased this knife in person at SMKW at the recommendation of one of their sales people. My requirements were: Full tang, NO serrations, one hand draw and stow (with no fussing about), RELIABLE retention, and that the sheath stayed ON my belt (especially when drawing). Added to that was that it had to feel "just right" in my hand. I found the Fieldcraft to accomplish all of those for my needs. Keep in mind that I am very utilitarian when it comes to tools so "kind works" will get something tossed in a drawer and forgotten (i.e. the SOG fixed blade knife that I purchased a few months prior... The sheath design was not to my liking.)
All in all, I've been very happy with the quality of the Fieldcraft knife and will be interested to see what else Tops has to offer!

Great Knife
Tops 1095 is great with wood, as it stays reasonably sharp.

In general, this is a good one to have out laying around. The little tip does fine with letters.

I recommend getting the rocky mountain tread, as the knife will do more than is seems. Also, it isn't a very threating carry.

This is just a great little knife.
