Blue Otter
Hunting, Fishing, Hiking, EDC-ing, and Defending
At less than 7" overall length, the Blue Otter makes an excellent EDC or companion blade. The Blue/Black G10 handle is very comfortable for its size, with jimping up top to improve your grip and a deep choil for safety. The blade shape has a sharp, but strong tip and a slight recurve that aids in many cutting tasks.
Like the otter, the TOPS Blue Otter is quick and nimble. If you're looking for an EDC or concealed carry, a smaller self-defense blade, or a knife for processing small game or fish, this is the one. The solid Kydex sheath has a multi-position clip so that you can pick the right carry option for your situation, whether that's cross-draw, horizontal, vertical, or even scout carry. You'll be glad you picked this one up.

- Great knife, terrible sheath
-
Just like all my other TOPS knives, this thing is a tank and built to last a couple lifetimes. The thing that I hate is the sheath, it locks the blade in well, but I have a heck of a time getting it back into it. So the bottom line is until I either make a leather or kydex sheath, I can't carry it. It's an expensive letter opener.
Luckily I know how to make sheaths, I just don't have the time now. (Posted on 9/26/2021) - A small knife with a perfect fit
- This knife was smaller than I anticipated, however it fits in my hand perfectly. I typically carry a folder and a fixed blade with me at all times, and this is a fantastic fixed blade to keep on my belt for the more difficult blade tasks I may come across. The edge profile is a bit thick, but it adds to the strength of the blade. Normally a smaller knife feels flimsy in my hands but this knife feels anything but. (Posted on 3/22/2021)
- Most reliable EDC
- I have carried this little guy for five years and it has been through all sorts of adventures with me and I believe it’s probably one of the best EDC’s I’ve ever had. Stays sharp and is strong for its size. (Posted on 3/1/2020)
- Small Knife, Small price
-
I bought this at a gun store, he had several
Choices of Tops Knifes. The blue actually caught my attention. Appears to be well made and perfect size for carrying around. Not as sharp as I thought but will do the job. Paid $75 so thought is was a steal. (Posted on 5/24/2019)
