Pasayten Lite Traveler
From the camp to the mountain top, WE'LL BE THERE!
A true multipurpose camp knife.
A well known editor of Tactical Knives Magazine (with a great set of credentials in both the military and as a professional outdoorsman) took a great deal of time and his years of experience to design a true multipurpose camp knife.
In an article in Tactical Knives Magazine in May of 2003, the author wrote:
"The knife is ideal for what it is designed to be: an all-purpose backcountry tool. Used the Pasayten to split kindling, prepare every dinner for 10 nights, cut bannock at lunch, cleaned fish and cut line, it found its way into many hands and was the knife of choice when a job was to be done. The Pasayten is a no last-ditch survival knife, yet is stout enough to split kindling yet delicate enough to fillet fish. TOPS sheath has a swivel belt clip which offers the option of horizontal carry. All purpose, practical and ultimately useful knives that truly work!"

- Elk cleaning machine!
- My son shot his first elk last October. I had this and a couple other knives with me. I'd never used this knife for anything hard - just cleaned a few fish with it earlier in the year. I used this knife... ONLY this knife - WITHOUT a mid-clean/skinning sharpening. This thing was almost every bit as sharp at the end of the elk as it was when I first started. Huge fan of this steel, and this knife. If anyone has gutted/skinned an elk, you know how they can wear a knife's edge out quickly. This was "lite," nimble, and made quick work. The evening concluded with at least four hours of hiking in rain that turned to snow. Wiped the knife off - no corrosion. I highly recommend this knife. I own many TOPS knives, and this MIGHT be my favorite, now! (Posted on 6/5/2022)
- What an incredible chunk of steel!...
- For my $$$, this is one of the greatest knives that TOPS offers. From "Survival" to "Tactical" to "Hunting" to "Kitchen", this knife could dominate in any of TOPS categories. Need to de-limb a stump for some fire wood?...No problem. Coining some hot dogs for some beanie-weenies at the camp site?...No problem. Carving some fajitas or costillas (*That's "ribs", gringo) in your kitchen...No problem. Need to stab a bad guy in the heart?...No problem. This knife will DO IT ALL. Did I mention that it's SEXY AS HELL? I frisk everyone leaving my house to make sure that they're not trying to steal it (as a few have threatened). If you're even thinking about this blade, do yourself the favor of buying it. You won't be disappointed. (Posted on 6/21/2020)
