Ranger's Edge Micarta
Honoring the spirit of the Rangers
MSG Kim Breed 5th Special Forces RET., is a notable knife maker as well as an authority on Blades. In an article appearing in Blade Magazine in March of 2002 - "Knives At War - Blades In Afghanistan" he wrote:
"Pieces such as the Ranger's Edge from TOPS Knives are among those being taken to Afghanistan by the author's buddies from the 5th Special Forces." This is a double-edged, fine crafted tool with an outstanding pry tip extending from the handle, helping you to avoid prying with the point of the knife. A definite "will carry" in harms way."
The Ranger's Edge is a must-have for men and women who are in harm's way on a regular basis. It's great for defense or attack, and good for some EDC and utility tasks as well.

- bigger than expected
- Sometimes the photos trick you and the knife appears either smaller or larger in person when you get it. This one felt larger than pictured. This one is large enough to be a standard field knife for an infantryman. It has weight also it feels serious and very effective. Also has a chisel styled pommel that would be effective for prying or striking. (Posted on 6/4/2021)
