Designer Bernabe Velarde of Big B Leatherworks knew this problem too well from long cross-country rides. He needed a blade that could cut cord, slice food, and also tighten a loose screw or make quick adjustments on his bike without digging through packed saddlebags.

The RPG (Road Pup Goyo) blends the structural strength of a fixed blade with the practical utility of a multi-tool. Collaborating with TOPS owner Leo Espinoza, Bernabe created a compact companion that is always within reach on your belt. Whether you are lifting a hot kettle off camp coals, striking a fire, or tightening gear during an unexpected stop, this tool delivers without demanding extra space in your pack.

Its performance comes from these key design elements:

• Integrated 1/4-Inch Hex Receiver: Fits standard bits to act as an on-the-go screwdriver. The pommel features a rare-earth magnet designed to keep your chosen bit securely seated during use, preventing them from falling out when you are fixing gear on the trail.
• High-Grind Thin-Stock 1095 Blade: Offers a perfect balance between cutting strength and slicing efficiency. The 0.125-inch thick 1095 carbon steel blade features a high grind that excels at camp kitchen tasks, fine carving, and prep chores while remaining incredibly durable and easy to sharpen.
• Multifunctional Camp Features: Provides a built-in bottle opener, a dedicated ferro rod striker, and a pot-lifting grab hook on the spine. These features are positioned strategically near the handle to give you maximum control without compromising the main cutting edge.
• Compact Kydex Sheath with Beta Loops: Ensures comfortable, low-profile carry on your belt or pack. The sheath is designed for easy attachment and removal, allowing you to safely use the knife as a screwdriver while the blade remains securely covered, and includes integrated notches to hold two hex bits.

Please Note: The RPG is made from 1095 high carbon steel. To keep it in prime condition, always clean and dry the blade thoroughly after use, especially after camp cooking. Apply a thin coat of high-quality oil regularly to protect the steel from rust and keep the magnetic hex cavity free of debris. Additionally, hex bits are not included; because everyone has different needs, we left it to you to decide what bits to add.
