TOPS is dabbling more and more in the kitchen. Aside from the regular Dicer line, the XXX Dicer is a bit of a standalone piece for the kitchen. It’s made from a different steel than the rest of the Dicers, and its use is a bit of an enigma. Imagine combining a spatula with a cleaver and a chef’s knife.
It’s a wide blade, almost 4” at its widest point, with a whole lot of belly. The handle has similar contouring to the Dicer 8 Chef’s knife, but it is pushed forward into the blade and designed specifically to provide a comfortable pinch grip when using it. Whether you’re cutting meat for tacos, veggies for a salad, smashing garlic, or any other myriad of uses, cut down on food prep time and dirty dishes by using the flat as a spatula. It’s a versatile kitchen tool you’ll find yourself using on a routine basis.

- Outstanding Knife for the Kitchen!
- This knife is fantastic in the kitchen. It is very similar to a cowboy hash knife. Chops like a champ. Warning, it will shave off your fingernail. Ask me how I know! The weight and balance is excellent and once you get the "rocking" motion down, you can chop like a 5 star chef. (Posted on 10/23/2022)

I'll be honest, I ordered the XXX Dicer on a whim as I thought it was cool. It is fantastic when it comes to chopping. It takes some getting used to, but once you get comfortable with it, you will not be disappointed! One of the main things I use it for is to slice sweet potatoes to dehydrate. It goes through sweet potatoes like nobody's business.

I wasn't sure about this when I ordered it, but find I turn to it daily! It's very versatile; having a spatula-like front is immensely useful for scooping up whatever you have just diced. Well made, feels nice in the hand, and arrived very sharp!
I'd love to see a version in S35VN steel, although I can't complain about 440c. (Posted on 1/13/2021) - Love it!
- I bought the dicer 8..... but this one is awesome! Just be careful because this thing is SHARP. Still getting use to it but I love using this to cut up chicken for tacos or fajitas. Awesome quality! My favorite kitchen knive so far! (Posted on 4/5/2020)
