Pandora's Box
This was my first TOPS, and I have been hooked ever since. This little guy lit the fire, and now I EDC a fixed blade each and every day without exception. I found myself just staring at this thing, with the beautiful linin micarta (still the best version of the material I have ever touched} and the white liners... The accent of the gold lettering, and the fact that this thick as hell little blade could strop up razor sharp and clip my cigar clean every time...TOPS doesn't make anything but awesome neck knives, but this being the first one, and probably the most unique, it's gotta be my favorite. It stays on my neck like a dog tag. These knives are underpriced. Buy it. Review by Matthew (Posted on 1/18/2021)
Neat Little Blade
I've had this neck knife for about 5 months now and there is much to be said about it. It is sturdy, you can get a comfortable grip, you can cut precisely, the sheathe is perfectly tight, and I had little issue with it's weight. The weight is something of the buyer's choice, for me it took several weeks for me to get used to the weight. It can dig in with the metals beads that comes with this blade, so I opted for a Paracord necklace instead. My issues with the knife is that it is made with 1095 steel and blade length is too short. The edge doesn't hold too long, but this could be because of its 0.19 thickness. The edge showed signs of immediate oxidation, as rust could be seen within a week and a half. The blade itself is too short and soft to be given the title "Last Resort" as I believe this knife to be proficient in opening boxes and letters. It could be used for self defense, however your primary edc will be your staple. Overall, wait for the price to drop, $80 is steep especially for 1095. That goes without saying, don't dismiss this knife altogether, it has potential just not the right metal. Review by Zae (Posted on 1/8/2020)
