The Sneaky Pete has been a staple of the TOPS lineup for many years because it's such a great design for the fighters that don't back down.
In 2018, the Sneaky Pete was updated from its original version. Now it is made out of 1095 high carbon steel with TOPS Sniper Gray Cerakote finish. It comes with Black Canvas Micarta handles and a black Kydex sheath to complete the package.
The recurved blade with an upper swedge that terminates with a slight clip point was clearly designed to slice and slash with ease, but also to be able to stab and get good penetration. At 1/8" thick, it is excellent as a concealable self-defense knife that will also double as a capable EDC tool. By keeping everything thin and fairly light, the knife will disappear on your belt and be very easy to carry with you every day. This makes it a great carry choice for law enforcement officers, certain military personnel, and those that care about personal protection.
So if you're looking for a for a knife that you can use for regular daily cutting tasks that doubles as a last-ditch defensive knife, the Sneaky Pete is the knife you're looking for.

- My go to, lucky knife

When I first came back from my deployment overseas, I wanted to spend some money on a nice knife. Looking at TOPS, I wanted something high quality that I could depend my life on. I bought three knives that day, the Little Bro, the Ferret, and lastly, Sneaky Pete.
Now, originally I wasn't sold on SP, I was skeptical that I would like the handle on it. But when I put it in my hands, it's like it was made for me to hold it. I instantly fell in love.
After that, SP became my EDC, both on duty and off. Every time I would switch around my fixed blades to try something new, I would always come back to SP after about a week.
Between woods tasks, opening boxes, cutting cords or cloth, or in combat, SP was my go to. I carried the original run of it for 3 years, and when an updated version was releases, I was first in line for it.
Original SP is retired now, proudly sitting on a shelf, but the new model is always riding either on my belt or in my bag as a back up, knowing that if my belt blade fails me, SP is always there to pick up the slack. (Posted on 3/22/2021)
