Mini Scandi Rockies Edition
PERFECT COMPANION FOR THE FIELDCRAFT KNIFE
The Mini Scandi Knife has resonated well with thousands of outdoorsmen, survivalists, and bush crafters because of its intuitive and useful design. Everything about it is great. The MSK Rockies Edition ditches the powder coat for a tumble finish with clear Cerakote for rust prevention, green canvas Micarta handles, and a tan Kydex sheath. Still the same great neck knife, now with yet another option.
Originally designed from the Finnish Sami knife, used by the Laplanders for all their hunting and bushcraft tasks, Scandi grind knives have traditionally been flat ground, single or double sided, with a "zero-ground" edge. The Mini Scandi was a result of the very popular, original Brothers of Bushcraft (BROS-01) knife. It occurred to Leo Espinoza, who designed the Mini Scandi, that a good idea is still a good idea in a smaller package. It offers all the advantages of a modified Scandi grind in a neck/small sheath knife that can also fit in your pocket or pack.
The Mini Scandi Knife is not only our most popular neck knife, it’s one of our most popular overall knives. This level of popularity brought many requests for different choices. With the addition of this MSK Rockies Edition, we have 5 different options, which will fit anyone’s style. Not only will it perform perfectly, it will look impressive doing so.

- Perfect neck knife
- Got this guy about a year ago, when someone told me it's a great "neck knife". Tried wearing it around my neck for a few days and got use to it pretty quick. I use my edc throughout the day and often have it sitting at my desk and inevitably I have to leave multiple times throughout the day and forget to grab my knife and several time a week I'm glad I've got this guy around my neck. Never thought I'd edc multiple knives, but it works. The blade comes very sharp and the handle is perfect and the sheath has a very tight so it wont go anywhere. When you buy Tops you get the best, I have yet to be let down. (Posted on 4/20/2020)
- Nice for EDC pocket
- Sure, I have a few scandi type knives but I was still looking for one that would fit in one of my EDC pocket kits. The MSK Rockies edition fit the bill perfectly. I liked the idea of having a knife that had a clear Cerakote option along with that low-key tumble finish. Speaking of finish, TOPS does a wonderful job with the fit and exacting specs that they do for all of their knives. It fits inside a pocket quite easily and is easy to dig out because the sheath gives it a tight fit. The scandi edge works in more situations than you might imagine. Next in line will be a B.O.B. full size. *A+* (Posted on 8/12/2019)
