Tex Creek
When It's Time To Go And Get Some!
A tribute to the men and women who hunt and fish in the Tex creek area in Southeast, Idaho.
The Tex Creek wildlife management area includes 2 national forests and is home to an abundance of diverse wildlife and is accessible starting about 10 miles from the TOPS facility. Open range, high rugged mountains, waterways and large forests provide the hunters and fisherman a variety of diverse terrain to acquire elk, bear, mountain lion, wolf, moose, pheasant, turkey, quail, rabbit, duck, goose, steelhead and salmon.
The fact that this Tex Creek area is so close to us enables our designers and makers the ability to field test in their own backyard. Since many of our staff grew up in this setting, they have ample opportunity to evaluate the use of our knives/tools under the most adverse conditions. The "Tex Creek Hunter" is a fine example of a high-quality, good-looking work knife.
The darkened Micarta scales are screwed onto the handle and a large cord holder is accentuated at the back of the handle. The handles are designed and built for a positive grip and for extended periods of use. A simple and usable design is reinforced by a sturdy 3/16" thick blade and full tang handle. This is a knife that performs with excellence in the field and looks and feels like an old trusted friend, anywhere that you go

- Great hunting knife
-
I’ve carried this knife for 5 years now and used it to skin, quarter and debone a lot of whitetail and black bear. It’s large enough to process big animals with ease but not so large that it adds too much excess weight or gets in the way while hunting.
I was a little disappointed how easily the finish on the blade started to wear off but the quality of the steel is great, still extremely sharp even after processing a large deer. (Posted on 11/16/2023) - Love my Tex Creek....
- No complaints here on my Tex Creek. Perfect size for every day carry. I have mine on everyday never leave the house without it being on my side. Except for today cause im hitting the woods & ive got my silent hero on my side. (Posted on 1/31/2019)
- Great knife but Black River Wash was a disappointment.

The knife and sheath were both great, but the black river wash on the blade was very disappointing.
I know that due to how the treatment is done that every blade is different, but mine was pretty bad. My blade was just a solid one shade of gray. (Posted on 1/13/2016)
